Not All Assumptions are Bad

As we drove home from a week in Ocean City with our dear friends and their 3 kids yesterday, I broke out my new calendar.  This week, before more family comes to visit us, we’ll plan our year.

I am bursting with excitement!  The world is so full of possibility.

I must have been dreaming about it last night because I woke up with one thought in my head today (and that’s more than most morningss ;)).  It’s on a loop and I cannot shake it:

Assume today will be awesome.  Then take responsibility to make it so.

Assume today will be awesome.  Then take responsibility to make it so.

Assume today will be awesome.  Then take responsibility to make it so.

Assume today will be awesome.  Then take responsibility to make it so.

Here's JohnJohn, being a BOSS on his first ride alone. He always assumes Awesomeness.

Here’s JohnJohn, being a BOSS on his first ride alone at Wonderland Pier. His hand is blurry because he waved to my husband every time he came around and said, “Hi, Dad”. Every single time!
He always assumes Awesomeness and it usually works out.

I hope you find Awesomeness today.  I am off to make it so.
